School: the place where you either a) totally change from your home-self to someone totally different, b) have 3 really good friends and be a total nerd, c) be a Popular kid and have tons of friends who secretly hate you or d) be lame, looked down upon, called a nerd and a geek because you have a 4.0 GPA, be the teacher’s pet, and have the time of your life. (I am sure there are others, but I these are the most common so these are what I put.)
So there are 3 types of schools: High School, Middle School, and Elementary School. Each time you change schools, you have a chance to change who people see you as. You could change your entire personality. The possibilities are endless. Changing schools can be really hard especially if you haven't met anyone there, but the hardest thing about changing schools is leaving the people you love behind even though people say "We're going to see each other again. We're going to the same High School. It won't be that long and we'll still be friends through it all." Even though you know this, it's still really hard to leave. You don't want anything to change, but everything eventually does. There is a quote that says "Change is not pleasant, But change is constant. Only when we change and grow, We'll see a world we never know." ~ From Wisdom of The Orange Woodpecker.
Another quote is "You cannot control what happens to you, but you can control your attitude toward what happens to you, and in that, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you." ~ Sri Ram
We all have times that we feel alone, but we are not because life goes on, even when we don't think it will. We need to embrace the changes, not fear them. School is just one of the many changes that will happen in our lives. You are a great person. Show the world your worth.
