Mother's Day, Mom's Day, The Day Where The Mother of The House Gets Whatever She Wants Day, etc. This day is called all of those things and many more.
I came up with this blog post after reading Moogle Kid's blog post for this week. (Here's the link if you want to read it.) It really made me think about my mom and all that she does for me. My mom is the best mom I could ever wish for. She understands me in every single way. I am so grateful for her.
Anyways, to get to the main point of this blog post, I just wanted to talk about all the things, big and little, that a mom does for her children even the ones that we see and the ones that we don’t realize that she does for us.
1. Get's Them Out Of Bed
-
You know you mom does this or at least did do this when you
were little
2. Morning Ritual
- This consist of getting breakfast, doing hair, getting backpacks and lunches ready, and taking care of the odd bits and ends while getting themselves ready for the day
3. Taxi Driver
-
Your mom drives you everywhere. To school, friend's house,
mall, library, and to anywhere else you need to go like dance recitals, plays,
extra credit, concerts. The list goes on and on
-
Despite what most people think, your mother (and father, but
this is Mother's Day so...) is your first teacher. She teaches you by example
and by talking to you. She is the one that helps you learn how to speak, walk,
eat, clap, etc. A mother's influence on her children is indescribable.
-
When you're sick, who do you call? YOUR MOM!!! It's
unexplainable what a mother's touch can do for a sick child. There's just
something about having your mom there that just makes you feel all better
- A mother was portrayed as someone who cleaned for the longest time and it's still true. Your mom is always cleaning up after you. Doesn't matter that you washed off the counter 30 minutes before, it's dirty again so she has to clean it.
- Your mom gets all the toys, dippers, clothes, food, school supplies, and much more. They are always traveling and trying to get everything done and delivered to the correct kid. They got to know what all of their kids like and what they don't like. Which ones won't eat what and which ones are allergic to that. They have to have dinner ready at the correct moment with all the foods that you like or they will get a tantrum on their hands.
I could add on and on to this post. Mother's do so much for us. They believe in us like no other person can. The power that a mother possess is immeasurable. She is the perfect person in all her children's eyes. So here's to the moms!!!! Happy Mother's Day!!!!
